Three students from EALC's Korean Language Program participated in the third Mid-Atlantic Korean Speech Contest and won the following awards:
Heejoon Shin won the First Place Award (Level 3) for his speech, “Beyond Academics: The Power of Undergraduate Research Experience,” earning a $1,000 scholarship.
Cat Nguyen won the Third Place Award (Level 2) for her speech, “Finding Happiness,” earning a $500 scholarship.
Kwun Hang Henry Chung received a Regional Finalist Certificate (Level 1) for his speech, “The Reason Why I Started Learning Korean.”
