Bibiana Tsang 曾學柔

Bibiana Tsang is an MA student in East Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Pennsylvania with a focus in premodern Chinese art history. Bibiana was born and raised in Hong Kong. She is the recipient of H.T. Ho Prize in Fine Arts and is the winner of The University of Hong Kong Museum Society Asian Art Essay Prize Competition. Her current research interests include Chinese architecture, representations of architecture in paintings from Han to Ming dynasties, and the material culture of China. Bibiana has also received industry training in auction houses. 

Recently, Bibiana presented her paper titled "Ming Dynasty Jiehua 界畫: Architectural Elements in Paintings by Wen Zhengming and Qiu Ying" in the Graduate Student Conference organized by the University of Pennsylvania East Asian Languages and Civilizations Graduate Student Research Colloquium. 

Aside from her academic interest in art history, Bibiana writes poems and has published a few sonnets and free verse poems.
