Hanh believes in speaking the languages can help recognizing the traditions and customs, acknowledging the cultures, thus understanding one another. That's why she is passionate about languages and cultures and would fuel that love to students.
Beside teaching, Hanh is actively participating in NFLC and SEALC's projects to create teaching materials. She also works with state government in standardizing language to communicate with Viet communities.
